紫陽花の花が見頃を迎えましたね。
紫陽花の花言葉は、「移り気」「冷淡」「辛抱強さ」「冷酷」「無情」「高慢」だそうです。
でも、ちょっとロマンチックで妖艶で、どことなく寂しげな感じがするように私は感じます。
皆様にとって紫陽花はどんなお花でしょうか？

In Japan, the rainy season has started at the same time it is the season for hydrangea.
Did you know that Hydrangea symbolises heartfelt emotions? It can be used to express gratitude for being understood. In its negative sense hydrangea symbolises frigidity and heartlessness.
Some says it was first discovered in Japan.
The name hydrangea comes from the Greek “hydor,” meaning water, and “angos,” meaning jar or vessel. Because hydrangea needs plenty of water and its cup-shaped flower.
According to a Japanese legend, a proud emperor used a bouquet of hydrangeas as an apology to the family of a girl with whom he was in love.
